IMANA's Medical Ethics Committee provides ethical guidelines in patient care from an Islamic perspective. It studies the social consequences and moral questions raised by technological developments in healthcare. The Ethics committee also publishes articles and position statements on ethical issues and provides answers to specific questions relating to such issues. It organizes programs on ethical issues within the scientific programs of IMANA. The Ethics Committee acts as a liaison with other ethics committees/organizations. The term of the committee is renewable.
