IMANA Medical Relief is proud to announce the inauguration of it's first Mobile Mother and Child Clinic
On July 24th, 2011 IMANA Medical Relief is proud to announce the inauguration of its first Mobile Mother and Child Clinic for the flood affected people of southern Punjab, Pakistan. This project was in collaboration with the Pakistani Islamic Medical Association and Federation of Islamic Medical Associations. The ceremony was attended by many distinguished dignitaries and covered by many local media outlets.
The mobile clinic will help provide medical care in the rural villages of Southern Punjab. These areas were completely devastated last year by the historical flooding and are lacking adequate healthcare. The focus of the clinic will be women and child healthcare. The bus has been equipped with an examination room, minor surgical procedure operating room, ultrasound, lab, and pharmacy. The facility will be fully staffed with a driver, three full time physicians, nursing staff, laboratory technician and a pharmacist. The bus will visit these rural villages providing free healthcare to tens of thousands.
IMANA Medical Relief would like to thank all its supporters; you truly have made a difference. Donate today, save a life today.
