Pakistan Flood Report

The flooding has reached epic proportions in Pakistan. Twelve million affected and there is no end insight. After talks with the World Health Organization and briefings with the State Dept, it was evident that someone has to help, and like Indonesia, Kashmir-Pakistan, Gaza, Haiti and Sudan.
IMANA responds. A team of 5 IMANA physicians will be departing on Thursday August 12th for Pakistan. The volunteers will be working in one of the hardest hit districts, Charsadda. The latest United Nations briefing has estimated that the flood disaster is "Larger than the Mega-Three Natural Disasters Combined” (Tsunami 04’ Pakistan earthquake 05’and the Haiti earthquake 10’)
In collaboration with IMANA’s partners organizations on the ground in Pakistan, IMANA Relief has in part finacially supported the establishment of: 65 Refugee Camps Provided Food for 55,000 Provide Shelter to the Homeless Triaged/Treated Thousands via Mobile Clinics Deploying First Medical TeamCharsadda KPK 8/12/10
Once again IMANA is making a difference, and you can too!
