AssalamuAlaykum (Greetings of Peace),
For most of us, 2021 was a transition towards normalcy due to the Covid vaccine rollout, but many continue to face challenges to access essential healthcare services.
This past month, IMANA’s Disaster Relief Campaign highlighted our response efforts during natural and climate-induced disasters, armed conflicts and addressed the needs of those impacted as they move to safety and resettlement.
Please join us in honoring and celebrating Dr. Ghaus M. Malik for receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award by the Henry Ford Alumni Association in Detroit. Dr. Malik, an Executive Vice-President at the Dept. of Neurosurgery at Henry Ford Health System, received this award in recognition of his exemplary career achievements, commitment to service, and contributions to advance the practice of medicine.
Over the past several years, IMANA has hosted an Observership Program for senior medical students from Alfaisal University – College of Medicine to familiarize them with the practice of medicine in a U.S. clinical setting.
After an overwhelmingly positive response to IMANA’s Annual Convention resuming in July 2022, we’re now accepting registrations!
