Description: More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. This growing statistic places all the more importance for us to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that persists around dementia.
The IMANA Education Committee has paired up with Geriatrician, Dr. Quratulain Syed to understand the warning signs of dementia and the importance of a timely response. Dr. Syed will also explore the role of caregivers and the substantial emotional, financial and physical difficulties faced by families in caring for the sick.
