Grants - IMANA AEDs
Since its inception the Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA) has operated under the belief “If anyone saves a life, it shall be as though he had saved the lives of all mankind.” (Quran 5:32)
In expression of this belief IMANA’s Endowment Fund will support the placement of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) and provide appropriate training for use, in places of worship across the country. As an additional benefit, building awareness of the presence and access to an AED will create community association of places of worship as “safe spaces”.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States.
AEDs save lives.
