IMAGINE fleeing for safety, the plight of Syrian Refugees

September 25th, 2002

The Syrian refugees in Jordan may not be making headlines in the news, but their struggle to survive while living in rows of prefabricated shelters with little to no healthcare is the heart-wrenching reality.

Today, we share a story about these parents who fled Syria for safety, worrying not about what they’ll bring with them, but about their child who has a debilitating and life-threatening illness, called Maple Syrup Urine Disease. Would they survive the journey?

Families are desperately trying to escape the fighting whilst trying to stay healthy during the coronavirus pandemic. Your gift helps thousands of Syrian refugees receive much-needed medical aid.
