This year likely felt different for many of us. It was a recognition of simplicity. A time that allowed us to better try to understand what our brothers and sisters around the world experience, reflect upon ourselves and take steps to do better – do more.

For them, the reality of each day is:

• Risk when venturing out of the home to access food – with empty shelves and stomachs the norm
• An inability to travel outside the home at will – if a home exists at all
• Access to healthcare only offered because someone like YOU shows they care

Our faith reminds us: “Zakah is for the poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the (funds); for those whose hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to the truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer; (thus it is) ordained by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.” Quran 9:30

The Zakat you entrust us with will be used for the direct support of IMANA’s Medical Relief missions around the globe.
