Over a month ago, Cyclone Idai hit the southern African countries of Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi, affecting over 3 million people and leaving over 1,000 dead, thousands missing, and a cholera outbreak in its wake. It is ranked as one of the deadliest storms in the Southern Hemisphere. Additionally, the area has been hit in the past few days by Cyclone Kenneth, compounding damage to the area.

IMANA Medical Relief (IMR) responded to Cyclone Idai by procuring and airlifting three (3) Interagency Emergency Health Kits from our emergency funds. The kits are stocked with sufficient life-saving medications and supplies to treat 10,000 patients in each affected country up to three months.

Our goal is to build back $30,000 spent for this effort from our emergency relief funds, so that we can be ready for the next emergency. Please help support us today.
