According to the latest count, there have been 19 confirmed deaths while dozens are still missing. The hurricane has flattened town after town; the devastation is simply enormous.
IMR is working with the Better Together Coalition, an alliance of Muslim non-profits, to assess the needs and draw up a relief plan. An assessment team is on the ground in Florida today; procurement and delivery of relief materials will start shortly.
