The IMANA team is eagerly preparing for the upcoming Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conference, taking place August 31- September 3 in Houston, Texas. The ISNA convention is the largest gathering of Muslims in North America to discuss their role in different sectors of society, build community, share best practices for spiritual and civic engagement and deepen religious understanding.

IMANA Past President Mohammed Basheer Ahmed’s book has been selected to be presented at the ISNA convention’s “Meet The Author” event. Dr. Ahmed’s book, My Story As A Muslim Immigrant in America, chronicles his personal journey of achieving the American Dream while making a difference in the lives of others along the way. You can meet him at the event on Sunday, Sept 2 at 11:15 a.m.
